Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance has worked diligently since 1996 to ensure that everyone in our communities have equal access and opportunity to participate fully in the life of our communities.

Now, more than ever, we are committed to this mission.

Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance (LEDA) is honored to have joined the Welcoming Network, as Welcoming Ottawa!, a global network of local governments and nonprofits committed to making communities more welcoming. Led by the nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, Welcoming America, LEDA has access to research, technical assistance, webinars, and collaborative programs with other Welcoming Network organizations.

LEDA is partnering with many organizations and businesses to create a Welcoming Plan for all people in Ottawa County.

Let’s make Ottawa County a better place for New Americans. A New American is anyone who identifies as an immigrant or refugee.

Your voice matters. Whether you have been a part of Ottawa County for a few days or many years, your Experience is important to us!

If you receive information for the Welcoming Ottawa! survey, please complete the survey as soon as possible. The survey is available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Your answers are anonymous and will not be connected to your name or identity. This survey is voluntary. You may choose to leave questions blank.

The more voices we hear from, the better Welcoming plan can be developed for Ottawa County.

THANK YOU!
